El Capitan compatibility

by FPierron » Sat Sep 19, 2015 9:14 am

Hello

As Mac OS X El Capitan should go out in maybe 2 weeks, I wanted to know if Kolor or some users could confirm that the PanoTour and Auto Pano softwares are working fine on it or should we wait a little bit ? I have bought a new mac that should come home in 10 days, and maybe it will have El Capitan on it : I will not have the choice to choose or not my OS X version (I know I can downgrade, but I do not want to spend hours on it).

Thanks for your reply.

Fred.

+1 on this request, as El Capitan is now released.

An OS X compatibility update for Autopano, Autopano Video and Panotour would be very appreciated.

Hi.. I have had El Capitan since the time it was released.. I had nothing but issues with Yosemite ... El Capitan loads heaps quicker, and takes advantage of the high end graphics cards.... For me its heaps better with no issues...

However.. I do not yet know if PTP or other Kolor software is fully compatible with El Capitan. I have asked but no conformation yet. I get some strange graphics glitches with PTP but it does not effect the final output.. The graphic glitches are more related to the GUI...

Destiny..

Hello Destiny,

I have made 25 panoramas these two days with APG and OS X El Capitan. Everything works fine.
