I am confused as to what it will all mean. I guess this will secure the future of Kolor. How did you read about it.. These days with Kolors new wonderful website, I cannot find their Blog.. I used to like reading that..

Let's hope GePro will ask for a new web Site ! Still impossible to read it. :D

Does this mean R&D will be focused primarily on Gopro dedicated solutions

.

Probably not; the new Kolor site looks rather like the GoPro site, so perhaps the new Kolor site follows the GoPro corporate style guide?:

As I said in the blog ( at the end of the main page, you'll find the news Destiny ;) ), the current product range will continue but at a new scale, of course. Kolor is a professional focused company and within GoPro, we'll continue to act like that. But we are also target the mass market, of course.
At Kolor, in France, we'll grow and continue R&D to deliver always better products.

Indeed this morning i had a discussion with collegues who expressed concerns about
whether GoPro might prefer it´s own camera-products over competitors regarding the
developement of the Kolor-software . . . =|

How will this affect the Panobook 2015 contest? I noticed that panobook.org now redirects to kolor.com. Will the book still be published?

Weird. In Firefox panobook.org immediately redirects me to kolor.com. In Chrome and IE it works fine. It works in Firefox if I go to one of the other pages on the site, say http://www.panobook.org/contract/sign. Problem seems to be with Firefox on my end. I'll keep investigating.

So the book will still be published then?
