Yes and no.
The paper describes 2 aspects: the path calculation and smoothing, then resynth of the new images.
We already have the algorithms for the path calculation and smoothing (in the motion stab, it is that in fact), we don't have the algorithms about resynth of new location. It works fine for gopro view, but for 360°, it will be complicated as you see all around you.
