Nadir Medallion

by Revolution » Mon May 13, 2013 3:00 pm

(I think) my skills have advanced enough - so that the nadir shot is no longer an issue for me.

However, my question is not about the nadir quality... it's about the Medallion.

I used a Medallion for 2 reasons:

1) at first - my nadirs were awful, and
2) they provided me with a "advertising space" at the bottom of the image

I can now create "perfect 360-180's" - without a Medallion... but if I do - I lose the advertising space.

Your thoughts on what you do... and why, please.

Who pays for the panoramas? The answer decides for me who owns the advertising space. I think a perfect nadir should be show, as the piece de la resistance! In the (upper left) corner you can still place your logo.

ditto with Hans

Rather than a large nadir patch, perhaps an alternative is a discreet string of text overlaid on the bottom cube face if you still want to include your name in the pano itself.
