Save stack

Got some great idea or a feature request? Post it here and discuss it. The most requested concepts are usually implemented, as Autopano Pro / Giga is very community driven.

Save stack

by hankkarl » Sun Nov 12, 2006 1:22 am

In another post, Alexandre mentioned that the save stack grew and sucked up memory, and that it may have to be limited.

Would it be possible to erase all intermittent steps when a snapshot is taken? That way, you can recurse to significant points and have a longer history of what the user did without taking up so much memory.

That sounds like a nice idea! Alexandre will tell if it's doable, but I'll move the topic to The Future, as this will probably go into the 1.4 list (looking at the time span between 1.2 and 1.3, I think we're now rushing towards a final, so no new features for now, I guess).
Some of my panoramas, posted in the Autopano Pro flickr group.
