AutoPano Giga 2.6 beta +LR integration

Got some great idea or a feature request? Post it here and discuss it. The most requested concepts are usually implemented, as Autopano Pro / Giga is very community driven.

AutoPano Giga 2.6 beta +LR integration

by mcapellari » Fri Jul 15, 2011 4:49 pm

Hello,

i like the lightroom integration in AutoPano Giga 2.6, but some optional features would be nice

1. clean the temporary exported images after rendering the pano (normally there is no need to keep them, since the images are already kept in lightroom)

2. reimport the rendered pano in lightroom

3. start detection automatically after autopano has started

i'd love to see those features in one of the next autopano versions, would be nice if this features could be turned on/of somewhere in the settings, if they will be realized

hello lionel,

thanks for your reply,

i did not take a closer look at the autpano plugin for lightroom, is it a compiled lua script or is it plain text? i ask, because it maybe nice if it would be open for enthusiastic users, to add their own features

i also have some other ideas ...

- optional exporting as tiff instead of jpeg
- define exporting quality in the lightroom plugin (normally i would do the best possible quality, but for testing lower quality-settings could be usefull)

To reimport into lr, you can use lr folder watching and set up apg to rendre in this folder. At the end of the render, the paon will be automatically imported in lr.

It's plain text

So feel free to add your enthusiasm in it :-)
I'have to dig into lightroom more for doing what you asked for ...

I've modified the export script to have additional menu entries plus I kept the original.
Fullsize TIFF
800px TIFF

I've included the fullsize tiff and 800px tiff .lua files with a modified info.lua.

Just copy these files into the existing C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Modules\AutopanoGiga.lrplugin folder.

Cheers! :)
