Virtual fingers

by HansKeesom » Mon May 27, 2013 4:31 pm

When I am reparing broken line in the editor I often use the outside fingers of my left hand to mark from where to where I want the line to run. I then flip through the photos to see on which I should place a green marker to heal the broken line.

This technique works great but is a strain for my left hand and leave dirty marks on my screen. Therefore I would like to have virtual fingers that I can place on the screen as a pair to mark from where to where I want to repair the line. So just two simple X, colored orange like roadside work cone's, would be enough.

Once I press preview again, the can disappear again.

Of course, they should survice panning of the preview area.

Ok, being able to place more then two virtual fingers might also be a good idea, to mark how line should run. Notice, I say "mark"! That is all they have to do, they do not need to have any influence on the inner working of APG, they just help to remember where a certain place in the preview was while flipping through photos
