Stitching on multiple machines?

Got some great idea or a feature request? Post it here and discuss it. The most requested concepts are usually implemented, as Autopano Video is very community driven.

Stitching on multiple machines?

by UVU360 » Wed Jul 01, 2015 12:19 am

I there ANY way to render the stitches on multiple machines with a render farm?

It seems like you should be able to it you are rendering image sequence files and have a render manager/licenses.

Batch Rendering lots of machines

Can you render on more than one computer. Renderfarm?

Or can you build a machine with multiple GPU cards and take advantage of that?

A server option would be quite useful for rendering purposes in the future, but I'd say there are far more urgent things to address right now q:

Amidee. my issue is I have projects taht are very long and client wants 4k 16bit tiffs. I am rendering entire days sometime one one shot and some are stereo. Renderfarm would change the game for me. And its all about me... Ha.

absolutely agree, we need an api which would allow command line operation and renderfarms.

according to Kolor's advertised specs (but very outdated), earlier versions used multiple gpu's (at least in the 2013 Mac pro) and saw greatly increased fps in render times. Bottlenecks soon become network speed, drive speed and bus speed.
