CUDA Render Crashes APV3 On Uncompressed, Cineform & ProRes

by ColKurtz » Sun May 27, 2018 4:37 pm

I've been trying and failing all day to get anything except a 4K render out of APV3.

Uncompressed, CineForm and ProRes selected as Output Type so I can hit my Omni footage max (7926 x 3963) causes a crash about 5 seconds after hitting Render. It creates a .kava file that never grows past 0MB.

Crash Report

I couldn't find anything in the forums specifically about this issue. It's late so I tried one more thing: changed render settings to CPU only and it's now working a ProRes render - no crash yet.

I've updated my NVIDEA 980 GeForce to the latest driver and Windows 10 is up to date. It's a sin to have this GPU idle while rendering so I'd love to know what I can try to fix this problem, ideally without going back and recreating it in APV2.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.
