AUTOPANO VIDEO 3.0 Doesn't Use CUDA?

by imaginethis » Fri Feb 09, 2018 5:02 am

I've noticed that Autopano Video 3.0 does NOT use CUDA to render Cineform MOV that is larger than 8192 wide in resolution.

It uses CPU when rendering Cineform that is larger than 8192 wide, instead of CUDA.

Ref: http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/vie ... _Rendering
at the very bottom of the page it mentions this limitation

I was wondering if anyone figured out a way to enable CUDA acceleration when rendering Cineform MOV with resolution larger than 8192 wide?

Or any of the Staff at Kolor know?

I remember previous versions of Autopano Video (Autopano Video 2.5) utilised the GPU when rendering out videos that are larger than 8192 wide in Cineform MOV.

Thanks

There are three options for rendering in the settings, CPU, GLSL and CUDA. Use GLSL which is still GPU accelerated, just not CUDA.
