I came back to Autopano Video 3.0 after a few months, expecting the bug (for which I got no support) to be fixed in this later software update. However, it is still here and I would really appreciate getting some support from you guys this time!
When trying to apply a D.WARP - Still to a stitched video from a rig with 7 GoPro Hero 4 cameras, over a selection of 25 seconds I get the "ParallaxCompensatorTopology.cpp Line:542" Error message and I am unable to continue. Would love to get a reply this time, without first having to share this issue on Facebook..
I apologize if we have not answered your previous question. As you may know, D.WARP does not support all the RIGs present on the market. Have you tried on another computer to test the same workflow? Finally, feel free to share or send your footages so that we can make a try and give us the exact RIG model your own.
I am using the Pro7 rig from 360 Rize. This rig is supported and works until I randomly get this error message. I also get the same issue when using the Pro10 rig. Am I the only one still getting this (seemingly random) Error message when using D.WARP or is this a known issue Kolor is still working on solving?
As far as I can tell the only way for me to apply D.WARP again in this situation is by first rendering my batch, after which restarting AVP makes the error go away. However, it keeps reappearing after some time making the batch render useless as I need to continue this process if I want to make use of the D.WARP function.
Or maybe a workaround is to manually add the videos to the render batch after they are all finished. I will try it now and let you know later today if this is a work around.
Thanks for the details. D.WARP is the last tool to use if you cannot improve the stitching using APG Control points and Mask tools. This is not magical and it can cause more problems than it can solve. Any chance to get the footage?
I understand, I use it as the last step in my workflow. And I agree, sometimes it can cause stitching errors instead of fixing them. But the problem is not the footage, or the different outcomes of using D.WARP in the workflow.
After testing my previously mentioned workaround today, error "ParallaxCompensatorTopology.cpp Line:542" has not appeared when stitching and rendering 10 shots. To me this could mean the bug has to do with the combination of applying D.WARP to footage, adding it to the Batch render, creating a new project and repeating this process.
I still have 22 more shots to go though, so if the error does come up again I will let you know.
Any chance to get a footage that creates the error? Also, have you tried on another computer with more RAM and another video card model to test the same workflow?
Hello, I also use 360Rize RIGx7 and RIGx10, and DWARP works. By cons for the 360Rize RIG x14 3D I have the error message: Exception Unsupported rig configuration ... ". \\ ParallaxCompensatorTopology.cpp" Line: 542
I have a similar issue. I am using 360Rize RIGx10 Hero5s ... I was D.WARPing a 30 minute video and went to save and then it crashed. I found the problem is a known issue ... are there any solutions?
[ALPS-1488] : [BUG] Cannot save project after calculating a long D.WARP (crash)
I am now also not able to open my project, I get an error message "Opening project failed. Project file seems corrupted."
