99% and stuck on batch rendering.

by danovo » Mon Apr 04, 2016 5:02 pm

Hello

Currently on the latests software for Autopano Video Pro and on batch rendering I am getting to 99% and then it gets stuck, I can render fine with single projects but I have about 10+ at any one point so doing this 1 at a time is time consuming when I can batch render over night.

I here this was supposed to be fixed on the last update?

Any help?

Thanks
Dan

Hi,

Which version of AVP are you using?

Best,

Claire

Ok now I am wasting loads of time here, I cannot render anything to a complete 100% now, they are all getting stuck on 99%.

Even trying to do it one at a time.

Hi,

There might have been fixes that correct this issue in the new version AVP 2.3.2, can you try and confirm if this solves your issue?

Best,

Claire

I'm seeing the same behaviour on AVP 2.3.2. It doesn't happen on every render, but a few overnight batches have been wasted when an early render locked at 99%. This is using synchronous GPU rendering.

I am having the same problem as well (see post May 2, 2016). Once in a while I can get a playable .mp4 file even at 99%, but most of the time I get a "zero bytes" file. Been on 2.3.2 for a few weeks, but this just started happening. I can export with cineform, but that does me no good unless I convert it. Tried to rendered out using both synchronous and then asynchronous. =( Please help...

May 10th, still having the same issues. Have had no reply from support, even after sending them a message about this problem. Wish, for this price for the software, we had some sort of tech support!

Correct, it is really poor. Same issues I reported nearly 2 months ago.

Hello,

Did you use the videos directly downloaded from the SDCards? Do you have this issue with a specific project or with all your projects?
Can you also give the exact configuration chosen for the rendering?
Your hardware/software configuration (operating system and exact version, Autopano version for instance 2.3.2), RAM, video card)

Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Olivier

Hi
See this thread for the workaround : viewtopic.php?f=48&t=31653
This is still an opened issue that hopefully will be fixed in later releases : (#5758)

Best,
