Hope you can assist us please. We are trying to use the motion "Stab" stabilisation tool in APVpro and works great in terms of stabilisation, the issue we are having though is that once its stabilised and rendered out we play the video and the "horizon" level shifts dramatically over the course of the video starting to where it ends. E.g (It will start with the camera looking at the road but half way through the video its now looking at the sky, even though the original footage hasn't changed angle.)
As a side note: We have edited the footage/horizon in APG and this has no effect on how the video shifts its horizon level as the video plays through.
Is there a way to stabilise the video but keep a "centre" point that doesn't shift/move? Hope this is enough info for someone to have an answer to.
A drift in horizon is a side-effect of the way we actually compute the stab. To make up for it, simply create transitions in your horizon timeline and readjust manually the horizon.
