Error message and rendering problems

by andsplash » Fri Jul 17, 2015 1:54 am

I get the message ***Exception failed at core/pushencoder.cpp(429): Invalid State after hitting the render button in 2.0.2 and even though it continues to render at about ~ 5 fps and then at around %70 I get Exception bad allocation in File: ".\\PanoVideo.cpp" Line:164 and render stops.

In 4.2 beta render stops at around %18 and just freezes there without error messages.

Have you had a look at the troubleshooting page in case that helped?

Yes and the only unusual setting was that I was outputting 60 fps but I have done that before and it worked so I don't think that was it. All of the output locations exist and I have permissions to the output folder.

How long and how big is this render?
Could it be that you're hitting the file system wall?
It's a rather cryptic message q:

It is about 1 min and the output size when it did work was around 200 MB so I hope it isn't close to any limit :/

No it's definitely not.
I have no clue why it would stop after a while, this is so strange \ :
all videos play normally I guess?

Yup, I have had to start a new project a lot and have been saving after every operation. Some of the project files seem to work when I reopen them but some do not. Also some files will be 150 kb and then the next will jump to 30 MB so I do not know if that is a giveaway that it will no longer work or if certain operation will actually cause the project to jump size so quickly.

I just rendered a 5.5 minute stitch and got two error messages right at the start, but the messages where empty... first time AVP crashed totally, (and have send a report) and the second time, it rendered it.
