Discrepancies between reference panorama and subsequent rendering

by AlbertRaccoon » Fri Sep 13, 2013 1:35 pm

Hi,

I'm currently reviewing Autopano Video Pro for use with a custom rig (44 cameras).

As you can see on the screenshot below, the reference panorama is correct, but both the realtime preview and the final video rendering show some weird deformations.
Any idea what might cause that ?

The videos are custom made from still images using FFmpeg and libx264 codec.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, since I can't order a license as long as I can't produce a viable result.

Thank you in advance.

Hi, 44 cameras, waouh!

It is just a stitching issue. As you have a custom rig, you should use the 'stitch as' button with telling the software what focal length and lens type you are using.
It seems for me rectilinear and something around 24mm. Then everything else should work far better.
If you have any trouble, just contact me directly and I'll help you.
