Recommended codec for further editing?

by Skaven252 » Wed Mar 29, 2017 7:16 pm

To combine multiple takes, make cuts and fades, add text and additional audio tracks etc requires editing the videos rendered out of AVP in another video editor, like Vegas Pro (which I have).

Which video codec and settings would you recommend as intermediates for editing? Something that packs reasonably so it won't use a huge amount of disk space, but still retains quality, is fast to seek through, etc.... what's the codec to use for that?

Thanks!

Hello,

Cineform codec is the best format for a professional workflow which let you output 360 videos up to 4K with the original input framerate.
If you want more information I invite you to have a look at the documentation: http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/vie ... umentation

Best regards,
Olivier
