Color: not all cams look proper

by bergerdennis » Tue Jan 17, 2017 9:05 pm

Please look at this picture. look on the left the trees in the back and the trees on the center left and right look "muddy". Why is that? Color blending needed..?

PLEASE explain it to me. Thank you.

i use video pro and giga. this is exported with sharp blending mode. i mask some areas with smooth blended footage but not in the area i described.

please look at this pic. you see in the center colors are sharp and vivid. but above and left and right of that center, there is a triangle with muddy stuff, less clarity.

it is shot with the omni pt native, flat, low etc ISO 400

i would appreciate any info on how to optimize this kind of footage. I have other work that came out like this too.

Dear autopano guys,

this software is good but very expensive, your documentation is a mess - you write about processes with old software versions etc - oh my goodness it is so confusing.

So please try to solve my problem - give me infos - nudge me to the solution. But do something.

The GoPro-Guys from the OMNI-Forum told me to come here. I did.

Maybe it is a problem with my cams - then i will harass the gopro-forum again.

Thanks in advance

The "good quality" patch that you have at your center of your video comes from a particular camera. The "muddy" patches comes that you point out from different cameras (you can see the stitch line that separate them).
The first thing you can do is indeed check your sources, and compare the quality of the forest trees. Cameras are operating independently, and they can compress some areas more than others. If you think the problem is elsewhere, please come back to use with your video sources and we will take a look at it.
