Freedom360 (6 Gopros) Problem with Sync or Stitch

by aquabluleo » Tue Mar 08, 2016 10:25 pm

Hi all,

Equipment: Freedom 360 with 6 gopros.
Problem: See to the left of the person...notice misalignment of white section on wall.

It just seems to be this section...I think it's from my camera 6 segment...
I have tried both audio and motion sync...without any success to correct that section/problem.

==> Is this a Sync or Stitch problem?
When I sync and apply, there is no verification of syncing results...until I proceed to stitching step.

SYNCH:
- Tried Audio 30secs
- Placed marker when I was clapping

STITCH:
- Tried current selection and current position
- Placed marker somewhere in the middle of the clip duration
==> What's the difference between current selection and position and which is better?
==> Do I have to put the marker at a specific location on timeline?

Any suggestions on what the problem is...and solution?

Thks Martin...I'll take a look at Martin Arnoux recommendation/tips...

Hi guys,

This is just a matter of distance & parallax. You can focus the stitching on a fixed distance but not on the foreground and background at the same time.

You can use the control point editor in Autopano Giga…
http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/vie ... nts_Editor

and the masks…
http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/vie ... sking_tool
... to get a better stitching. Then you'll be able to fix some things in post prod with AE or FCPX.
