Screen capture - 360º footage

by DesignGuru » Tue Feb 02, 2016 9:23 am

Hey,

Hope someone here can assist with this seemingly easy question.
I would like to find the best solution possible to save out "flat rendered out" version of 360º footage. So for example, we have a 360º file and want to just save out sections of this footage for use in non 360º players, so basically a screen capture of whats seen in the 360º player.

I know we can make use of screen capture software but then the quality gets worse, doesn't support 100% full screen and also shows the nav bar and other items like mouse etc.

Is there any software for this or any good solutions in place?
For e.g. On the http://www.kolor.com website in the banner images you can see flat footage thats panning etc, hows the best way to achieve this?

Thanks in-advance.

Have you tried the Director's cut part of APV?

Hi,

I actually didn't even think of that!
Thank you, will give this a try just now and see if I can manage to do it.

Thanks again, much appreciated! :)
