Nadir patching

by onespoon » Mon Jun 29, 2015 6:37 pm

Hi, I'm trying to patch the nadir of a 360 video in Autopano Pro 4.0 as it says on http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/vie ... r_patching But the image I added is blended with the layers. How do I turn off the blended layer. I've tried rename the layer, but it doesn't work. Anyone can help? Thanks!

Could you show us a screenshot of the panorama editor window (where you added the patch), and perhaps the patch you've used?

Did you activate quick preview?

Attache the screen shot of the problem, it appears to be transparent and distorted. Thank you for your help.

You haven't activated quick preview.
You can tell if it's activated or not because your panorama will have a green outline/border when it is.

The logo gets even more transparent when I activated the preview. Any idea? Something I did wrong?

The layer has to be called "patch".

The layer has to be called "patch" (not case sensitive), but there mustn't be any other variation in the name.

- Patch that works

- Patch that won't work

Once you've renamed the layer, uncheck the layer's visibility then check it again to refresh it.

I did a test, the 360 video was shot on foot walking up stairs, the patch logo is swinging like the movement of the walking. Any idea I can make the patch logo fixed on one spot without attaching to the movement of the camera?

you must have used motion compensation; it's correct this way, otherwise you would have the patch staying fixed and the hole (or whatever you're covering, is that a tripod?) underneath it moving around (:
