I just realized that the Control Points Optimization Settings has received an update. But I can't find where the Lens Distortion Correction Options have moved to.

--- Have they been rolled into the Optimization Scopes submenu?
--- If so, how can I replicate these settings to improve GoPro stiching settings? (source)

Hello,

Yes, the control point editor changed in the 3.5 version.
The Lens distortion parameters have moved in the 'Optimization scopes' submenu as you guessed.

Concerning the settings you want to apply, ie:
- Identical focal
- Force different distortion
- 3rd order distortion model + optical center,

it translates to :
Code:
- Focal         : Automatic  -- Scope : pano (all images of the pano will have the same focal value)
- Distortion   : 3rd order  -- Scope : image (each image will have its own distortion values)
- Offset        : Enable      -- Scope : image (optical center will be optimized for each image)

Documention will be updated soon.

Regards,
Thomas

Thanks for the quick update. I enjoy the new Control Points Optimization settings layout.

I believe I got the settings correct. Can you confirm? Screenshot below.

Its so helpful to hear directly from the Kolor team directly. Many thanks!
