More fiddling has ended up with a bit of fun. I've managed to make the rain and snow plugins pano specific.
Added a bunch of fun things to the snow plugin (snow only, I didn't see the point in adding these settings to both rain and snow): - You can use your custom image and scale it. - Define the quantity of flakes. - Define where the floor on your pano is (or remove it!). - Define the wind direction.
Once I got the hang of it, it was pretty easy to add stuff. I didn't want to add too much or it could end up cluttered. However, I had no ideas what the maximum values were for some, so it put the limit at random.
You can use the "light" and "windy" dropdown menu as a strength setting for your snow. I couldn't decide if the wind direction would be activated only if your are on the "windy" setting or not...
After some help via PM from Gérald and Benji, I've improved the snow plugin, only minor changes though.
- Re-organised a bit so that it's simpler to read and less cluttered. - All the zones where you could enter numbers, you can now only enter numbers instead of anything. - Wind direction now only activates when using the "windy" setting. Otherwise it's useless - The floor and image scale values have been modified, so you don't have to bother with decimals. - Descriptions! Instead of ultra-long titles. - The snow plugin is now multi-instance. Use this wisely, as you well know, with great power comes great responsibility.
