Here's my first pano, posted to this forum ...

It shows mountain "Ipf" (http://maps.google.de/maps?f=q&hl=de&geocode=&q=ipf+bopfingen&ie=UTF8&ll=48.870107,10.359979&spn=0.012336,0.039482&t=h&z=15) at Bopfingen, Germany and was shot at "sunrise" (8:20h in December2007)

Sehr hübsch... The moment you took this shot was the right one. Go on, it's a nice shot.

What do you mean with bad marks?

It was shot (freehand) with Nikon D70 ...

BTW: Do you know the tool PhotoMe (http://www.photome.de/home_en.html)? It offers a web browser addon to see the meta data of every image on a website. (Firefox-Integration: http://www.photome.de/firefox_en.html) ... Using this you might have an easy look at the EXIF of my image - transfered from originals

Welcome on the board. For a first picture, it's a really a good picture. As everyone said : good time to get a good light and well shot.

It looks a bit infrared :]

You've got some dust on your sensor.

"It offers a web browser addon to see the meta data of every image on a website"
you can just right click on an image in some browsers and see the exif data (e.g. Opera)
