OK, back to my old ways... been about a month since I was down to shoot an ocean sunset at my favorite local place.

I even forgot my pano head for the tripod and was furious. I debated not even hiking down to the beach, but figured I would go anyway. The pano created from RAW was terrible, but when I converted to TIF it matched up perfectly.

Fuji S3 Pro
Sigma 20mm
Landscape orientation, not my typical way...
10 source images (2x5), shot w/ tons of overlap to try to overcome the lack of a pano head.
3-Stop Reverse ND Grad leveled on the horizon in all shots, top and bottom row.

Love the 'texture' in the clouds giving a kind of 3D feel.

NEVER again w/o a pano head... the foreground was a mess in the 100% output. Took forever cloning out duplicated rocks and fixing shadows that seemed to be cast by nothing at all because of mis-alignment.
