Took this mosaic 3x9 yesterday but APP had trouble with the bottom row. Stitched in PTA (using autopano) and imported to APP. There is a wide DR but this has no colour correction in APP. I will try processing it as a HDR when I have a chance.
the stitched file was around 60Mb and was reduced to 3 Mb to upload
You'll get better final results (especially with HDR) if no zone is burned in sources shots. The simplest way is to use camera's bracketting at its maximum (with fixed aperture), and let the camera automatic exposure on.
Panorama fanatic: look at the frames to the left of the trunk on the lower level. You'll see big changes in exposure due to the inclusion of the white sky. So that frame was exposed less than the rest. Look at the lowest lefthand branch.
I've had Ficus trees (Ficus Benjamina to be specific) which are commonly used as hedges in florida. I did not know they were fig trees. And I've also had a fig "tree" (plant) that actually grew figs at a rented house on long island. Neither looked anything like that tree in the photo. Does that tree grow figs? It's a beautiful specimen.
