Shalom to Israel,

dera Asaf, a wonderful pano. It is intriguing to see this town. Could you tell us something on the setup, you used to take the picture.

I would like to recommend the use of one of the new importfilters / add-on of autopano too, it is the dehazer. I tried a pano taken with a 200mm lens and there was this annoying haze, but after using this importfilter, it was really brilliant and won a lot of clarity. Imho that would really add a glance to this pic.

Best reagrds
Georg

will, its was a very hot day 40 degrees and no shade.

I just got the gigapan head 2 weeks ago.

I wonted to test my new 60D but when i started to connect the gear i found out that canon as change the cable of the remote entrance.

and I didn't had the correct cable on me.

I didn't wont to use my 5D because it has no crop factor.

so I used my very old 10D (she was in a box in my car as backup to the backup ...) this way i didn't use the haze filter, the CCD is in very poor condition.

I used the sigma 135 - 400 F4.5-5.6 that I got it just for the gigapan system.

its a #### lens but very chip and with crop factor I got 634 MM.

Hello Asaf,

thanks for the reply.

I think, there is a little misunerstanding. I did not speak of a "physical" dehaze filter ( like a polarizer or something like that).
In the betaversion of APG (giga I do have myself) there are add-ons. One can import his pictures via this filter. It works great ;-)

For an example you may look here,

http://www.autopano.net/forum/t10308-canyonland-national-park

it is a thread only a few rows under yours.

Best regards
Georg

if you have dust inside the camera the haze make it more visible.

Nice panorama! There are lots details here. A better lens like EF 400 F5.6 will give some more detail here. I can still name few places in this panorama that I remember from my 1997 visit there. It brings back some good memories.

Beautiful panorama of amazing city. But probably would cost "to replace the sky." At the same time would be lost ... the dust, which is still visible in the sky ...

hello.
the problem in the "dust" apart from the "clean CCD" is that this is the wither in Israel ...
