Trackable hotspot plugin question

by TimK » Wed Mar 22, 2017 11:20 pm

Hi guys, is there any way that I can build a plugin that tracks the click counts of each hotspot? I was thinking to add a count++ in each hotspot file and generates a int that counts how many times the hotspot has been clicked totally, because I want to see how many people have actually clicked the hotspot in the virtual tour. It would be great if it can generates a log file to show the daily click counts for each hot spot as well.

Thank You!

This could be done with the Google Analytics plugin of PTP and the user-plugin GATE ( Google Analytics Track Events - http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/vie ... .C3.BCning )

Hi Annis:

Thank you for replying back the traclble hotspot problem. We are actually wondering if the source code of Panotour is open for public because we are trying to develop extra plugins, but we might need to access to the source code.

Thank you

Tim

The source code of PTP is not accessible nor needed for developing plugins.

PTP and the plugins are based in KrPano, you have access to Panotour's default plugins to edit or use as templates from the Edit menu > Open Templates System Directory, your plugins will go in the User Directory.
And also a bunch of 3rd party plugins (paid or free) that you can use.

And this page should also be useful: http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/vie ... our_plugin

Thank you for replying.

I am trying to make a plugin for "image" something like PDF Box. Because in the action under "Basic", there is only "Display an image" option, but no "Close an image" option. I am creating the plugin to solve the problem by modifying the PDF Box plugins. I change the "filters" in "plug_info.xml" to images so it takes the image files. But I want it to be outside of the box (the pdf box)

Any suggestions?

Thank you!!!
