Default FOV

by bobjones » Wed Feb 03, 2016 4:22 am

90 degrees is just too wonky wide for a default field of view.

When I started using Panotour my clients always complained that the edges were distorted.

I now use between 80 and 75 degrees which is much more realistic.

The default is 90... Every pano I throw into Panotour needs to be edited. I'm working on a 60 pano hotel tour right now and it's irritating to have to change this for every pano.

I would just love it if you could put something in the preferences to set the default field of view... Also, the default 90 makes all panos just look strange. It shouldn't be that wide to begin with.

Anything that can change the default settings in PTP is a good idea.

Multi selection is available in PTP.

Select all your panoramas, go in Properties area, click on "selected panoramas", change the default fov for all of them at once.
