AUTOSAVE!

by bobjones » Thu Jun 05, 2014 4:17 am

Second random crash in 2 days using 2.1.1.

Autosave seems like a simple feature to implement. I save alot... But both times the program has crashed I have lost an immense amount of work.

Please... add an autosave function...

word 2003 has had it's own recover tool for crashes...not properly an autosave. 11 years later, autosave or at least crash recovery would be appreciated when a software is growing up day after day ;) IMHO

+1
the interval should be adjustable: 5 min, 10 min, 30 min ...
and to put a cherry on top there should be a button that automatically does a "save as" <filename+1>
so whenever you want to keep a previous version but have made changes with one click add a consecutive number.
