add option to “close window” & go “back to previous page”

Hello,

May have posted this comment in the wrong section previously, apologies for that.

One request for the new version of Pano Tour Pro, can you possibly add the option to include “close window” & “back to previous page” options on the virtual tour window, maybe add it to the direction/full screen controls and have a separate option where you can place it somewhere on the tour, like you can with the drop down menu list. Several clients have requested this for the integration of tours into their websites, it would be quite a handy option to have I'd have thought.

Would I be right in thinking that the project files from Pano Pro 1.8 will be compatible with the new version you are currently developing also? That would be fantastic if they are & save a lot of time when updatig the tours when it's released.

Bob.

Do you mean something like that? http://www.360impressions.de/HiRez/ (click on the house - it´s the "home" button)

Hi Bob
If I understand you correctly this is already available within the present functionality of PTP, follow the link http://www.shepherdsnursery.co.uk/ click on the tour and once it loads you will see a "home time" graphic ,bottom right on tour window, click this and it takes you back to the page without the use of the back button on your browser. Is this what you are after?

Hi Bob
I think this was aimed at me rather than Klaus, not sure but here is my solution, if you create a link to your pano from a page using "_self" this will open your pano tour in the same window, you would then return using your back button on your browser alternatively the use of a hotspot in PTP with a specified URL same as the page you have just come from eg http://www.bobspanos.com will then close the pano and take you to that page or any page you wish.
Hope this helps.

Sorry Mart, I should have noticed that you'd posted the last comment. I really do appreicated your advice, I've been trying to find a work around to open the tours in a new window full screen & have a return to previous page. I'll have a chat with my web designer & see if we can figure something out & add a hotspot retrospectively to the tours I've already done by cutting & pasting the code from a new tour with a hotspot added.

Thanks again.

Bob
