Yes - i understand that! We at least should be able to combine already existent parts from KRPano with PTP 1.8!
Doesn´t that work? I didn´t try - all our clients use iPads for about 1,5 or 2 years in their business . . and i
didn´t see anybody of them switch to Androids.

But of course it´s better to be open to other devices also.

best, Klaus

Do you mean there is a version of krpano that is Android compatible? If so, it would be great if I can combine that with panotour 1.8. That's all I need. Like you said, people are not interested in all that flashy stuff on their screen, they want to see the panorama.

iPad are not that populair over here anymore. Somehow apple has lost a lot of it's cool and Android tablets seem to be more cooler.

But does it work with panotour 1.8?

You may wish to try upgrading the krpano stuff in one of your tours (use a copy!).

Don't know whether this will help, gotta be worth an experiment:

Tried it but no luck. Anybody that knows whether it should work or that know another way to make the output of panotour 1.8 work on Android devices sold during the last year?

It's not what you are asking for but you know you can export your krpano license from PTP1.8 and use them wiith krpano 1.16.x viewers and tools. The tools include tools that make simple tours.

krpano 1.16.2 HTML5 works on recent Android devices.

What can I do to become a beta tester? :D
Do you want some chocolate, money, wine or beer ??? :)

Have a bunch of tours coming up, and I love to give you feedback on Panotour 2.0

I don't want a learning curve, I want to do what I do in panotour 1.8 in the same way I do it in Panotour 1.8. I need to deliver to customers.

Some extras are nice but they should not change the way things are done. I might just as well start learning a different tour-software in that case....

Maybe it is just symentics but I don't "want" to learn how to use new software, it is always a matter of "have" to.

Things I "want" are things like being productive and deliver beautifull and functionall tours to my customers. If that means I "have" to learn new software, well then that is something I "have" to do, but it's not my favorite thing.

In the end I hope I can import from 1.8 into 2.0, so tours can still be made with the old knowledge and generated to be android compatible. In time I can learn more options of 2.0 and use them when customers ask for them.
