Description display problem

by paparazzit » Fri Jul 11, 2014 8:31 pm

Hell,
My first post. I tried to find out what is the problem with the description display on built panorama
PROBLEM:
When I build a tour (panotour pro 2) and when I go to green "view last built tour" button descriptions are ok BUT
WHEN I CALL IT OUT DIRECTLY FROM THE FOLDER descriptions just don't show.

is there a fix to this problem.

Welcome to the forum...

Because of the way some plugins are implemented in javascript in PTP 2.x, for all features in a tour to display correctly you must deliver the tour via web server to avoid the security features built into modern browsers.

The View last built tour ... button delivers the tour via a lightweight built-in web server.

Alternatively for viewing offline you can either:

1. Use an offline web server such as the krpano testing Server.

2. If you have PTP 2.2 you can export the tour to a PTV file - a single file containing the tour - and then view this locally using the Panotour Viewer program:
