Hi!

For geting help you need to be a bit more specific.

Camera? Type of image-files? Image-size? Project size?

Thanks for replying Klaus
[Panotour Pro1.8 Win 64, Panasonic GH2 Camera, Samyang 7.5mm Fisheye lens, Panoramas made in PatGui Pro 64, Image saved as jpg, size 85,136,146 bytes on disk]
It is a Spherical Pano Image. Dimensions 11612 by 5806 at 300 dpi Project has no size, nothing can be opened, added, saved or closed. All actions in File menu crash the program. It is possible to drag and drop but then it crashes when I try to save.
Crash report from Temp file reads SETUP_PATCH.PACKED.7Z

Hi!

Thanks for the infos. Why 300dpi? It´s not for print, is it?
Reduce the files to .72dpi and takek care not to have some special items in it . . paths, masks, alpha or so.

There´s no reason not to work at all - given there are no issues in the files.

What about the type of files? Can you exactly spicify?

Are you saying that your 11,612 x 5,806 pixel pano JPEG image is 85 Megabytes in size?

Thanks Andrew, for also taking an interest. No matter what size the Panoorama, and even with no panorama at all, thee program will crash with any File action. I also installed the 32 bit version on my old HP pavilion running Vista. Every thing works fine on that, even with its puny 2 Gig memory that has to share a portion of that with Video memory for the display processor.
The 64 bit version is running on a top of the range Quad Core i7 with 6 Gig on board, a video card with a dedicated 1 Gig of Video Ram available. It is a game players dream computer I bought for running PS5 quickly, (I don't play games on it).

Hello Klaus,
In reply to your question about the type of file, the panoramas are in jpg, with spherical projection. The size is 81 megabytes on disk as I have saved it at 100% and no compression.

81MB is very small for a pano´s equirectangular image (i usually have up to 6 GB per equi ). Though 6GB RAM is rather small it must run this image-size.

Please check your settings regarding temp drive and so on under "Performance" in the presets.
