PTP Error Message

by deminggray@gmail.com » Thu Jun 06, 2013 4:45 pm

I am receiving an error message when I attempt to run one of my virtual tours. The error message is "License Error". I am attempting to run the virtual tour from a server. The virtual tour runs fine locally and other virtual tours run fine on the server.

Please advise.

Have you done any hand coding of the XML files?

Did you upload all the files and folders that were created by PT/PTP and maintain the file anfd folder structure?

Are the file permission correct on the server?

Do you have antries in the rdomain field in the Build tab properties?

Can we have the URL so that we can view the error message for ourselves?

Thank you for your quick response!

No I did not hand code any of the XML files.

Yes, I did upload the files and I did not change the file/folder structure.

I do not know the answer to the file permission question. I have asked my IT specialist.

Yes, the entry in the domain filed is my web site I think that is what you are referring to.

I have asked my IT specialist if we can allow you access to the site. It is on the company server.

Thanks,

Deming

And is the tour uploaded to the domain that is listed in the restricted domains field? If not, then that's the cause of the error message.

There is no need to have any entry in the Restricted domains field.

Is this not a publicly accessible Web server?
