Blank browser, no pano

by tarheel360vr » Tue Mar 18, 2014 5:29 pm

It's been awhile since I used Panotour Pro, so I first upgraded to version 1.8.

My tour performs as expected locally, but when uploaded to my server, all I get is a blank page. Previous tours on the same server perform well.

My krpano license is valid, though I'm unsure what if anything must now be uploaded to the same directory as the panos.

Permissions on the directory and files are the same as on existing tours that work as expected.

I'm sure it's a simple error, but I'm at a loss to find it.

Many thanks for any suggestions.

To be certain that you have uploaded everything required Build the tour to a new folder, then upload the entire contents of that folder to your server, maintaining the file and folder struture.

Re: Blank browser, no pano -- resolved, sort of

I finally let Panotour Pro upload the files and the tour works. At last.

PTP set UNIX permissions for the swf, html and xml files to 644. Data directory permissions are 775

Cyberduck, my FTP client, sets UNIX permissions to 644 for the html and swf files, and 770 for the xml files. Data directory permissions are 775.

Other than that, I can't find a difference. When I manually FTP the same files with Cyberduck and change the permissions as noted above, I still get a blank browser and no tours.

Other suggestions?
