Is there a quick way to pound out multiple single panos?

by MetroRuss » Sat Mar 01, 2014 10:43 pm

Hello all,

I have been away from photography for a while now, but I am back and happy to be learning more about VT's. I am glad mediavets and Destiny are still manning the forum!!

We are building a pano heavy website that will showcase a lot of the city's major highlights that google has not been to .....yet.
So making a virtual tour with dozens of panos in it will not work when the surfer clicks a link and wants to see the pano of the creek they clicked and get a GUI they don't know how to navigate through. We have about 30 individual panos at this moment to process and then we plan to make some mini tours as well when we map out a large park or development.

So... I am praying for any helpful tips to building
1. multiple solo tours.
2. pop out panos that open up in a preset size window with no scroll bars or navigation menus.
3. Thank you all

Hi, not sure if this is the best way but it kinda flows ok for my particular project.

1. set up 1st solo pano with all the settings in place like logos, help screen.
2. save it into the designated folder as index.
3. build it.
3a. open up the index.html file and change the title and make any other changes required.
3b. start uploading.
4. while the pano files are uploading in your ftp client start on the next one in ptp. add the next solo pano into ptp and then delete the prior pano and most of the settings should be the same, I think the default view and zooms will have to be set for each pano.
5. rinse repeat.
