Do you mean the Map extra or the Panotour maps extra?

Which version of the software do you have, Panotour or Panotour Pro?

There is no Enable check box on the Map extra - see screenshot 1.

You have to select the graphic file you wish to use as the Map before you can set the various options - screenshot 2.

Then you need to use the Panotour maps extra not the Map extra.

The Google Maps layer is no longer supported ( Google withdrew support for their Flash API) so you will have to use the Bing or Open Streetmap map layer options .

To use the Bing option you need to get a Bing maps key.

The Panotour Maps extra in PTP 1.8 is Flash only so will not be displayed on iDevices.
...............

Support for Google maps returns with PTP 2.x.

The Map extra utilises your own map graphic - you create or acquire it.

The Panotour maps extra utilises online mapping services to provide/display the map.
