To slow down the opening or closing map function, you need to edit the tour xml files.

Find the 'closemap' action in the main xml tour file (the one without a number, e.g. virtualtour.xml)

You can add a third parameter to the tween function which sets the speed (in seconds) of the transition.

Example: (speed is set to 1.5 seconds)

<!-- close the map -->
<action name="closemap">
set(plugin[mapradar].visible,false);
hidemapspot();
set(plugin[map].onclick,openmap);
tween(plugin[map].width , 15%, 1.5);
tween(plugin[map].height, 25%, 1.5);
</action>

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Michael
