openstreetmap - blank

by deedee7 » Wed May 02, 2012 8:43 pm

Hello. I'm having problems with openstreet map in PTP 1.8 It displays white blank page both locally and online. I've verified that the area is covered and available on openstreet map website.
Any ideas?
Here's the link to the tour: http://virtuastudio.pl/vir/restauracja%20szczecin/rs.html

UPDATE - it turns out that if you zoom too close it just blanks out, if you zoom out it's ok. It looks like you can zoom in to infinity. Should it behave like that?

in ptp...
if you choose openstreetmap in project properties -> Extra -> Map Layer
which map is displayed on left side in the "Hotspot Editor: Panotour Maps" Window?
In mine test project I see Google Streetmaps ;-) (dont ask me if this is a feature, a historic relict or just a bug - I cant tell you)

So I assume that the choosen zoom level in the Google Maps is not available in your openstreetmap of your final exported project.
So reduce the zoom level in the ptp project, save the project, create a new tour and verify ;-)

Georg

Hello,

As Georg said, your problem is just a zoom level problem.
The default zoom level is too high to see the streets.

So follow Georg explanations, and do not forget to click on the "Set as default view" icon in the PanotourMaps hotspot editor area, after you set the zoom level.
