Several things that interest me

by tomas.obadal » Sat Apr 14, 2012 5:54 pm

Hi,
I'm trying Panotour. There is several things, I'd like to do. Sorry for my english.

1) In Hotspot Properites - Display, there is Tooltip, but how to achieve it to look something like this:
Image

And not like this:
Image
I do't wanna have a border around the text ...

2) How to achieve to something like this nice info box? Html, javascript?
Image

3) And finally how to achieve to have this "top places", when you click on it, it zoom in to a particular spot in panorama?
Image

I know it's a lot of questions, but I don't need complete solution, only an outline of how this should be done, or if there are any examples ...
Thank you.

Hi!

Those examples you show are customized, meaning the one who made those have designed and code them most likely with xml. When making a tour, uncheck the "Embed all data" and "Embed XML files" from tour build menu. Then it will export you the xml files used in the tour and you can easily modify it from there. Check examples and useful information from here: http://krpano.com/

Let me give you example how to create the first one.

In the xml normally the text for hotspot would be like this:

<hotspot name="spot0" onclick="mainloadpano(panorama0.xml);" url="panoramadata/graphics/spots/spot0.png" ath="535.776" atv="0.234987" onhover="showtext(Hello!);" />

When generated from autopano, it doesn't give it much style by defaul. Now, let's create a style for the hotspots showtext and place it.

<textstyle name="HOVERTEXT"
font="Arial" fontsize="12"
bold="true" italic="true"
textcolor="0xFFFFFF"
background="false" border="false"
blendmode="layer"
effect="glow(0x000000,0.85,4,4);dropshadow(2,45,0x000000,4,1);"
/>

And the put it on the hovertext.

<hotspot name="spot0" onclick="mainloadpano(panorama0.xml);" url="panoramadata/graphics/spots/spot0.png" ath="535.776" atv="0.234987" onhover="showtext(Hello!,HOVERTEXT);" />

Now the onhover text has the attributes from the style HOVERTEXT. Here is a link where this is explained: http://krpano.com/docu/actions/#showtext

Rest what you are asking are modified with selfmade graphics and hand coded the fuctions with Krpano. Would take me long time to explain how they have done those but atleast it gives a small hint where to go :) Check some custom works i have made:

Click "yritysesittely" button at bottom to open infobox. You can also walk outside of the door to the street and use Menu to navigate in stores. http://imaginefinland.fi/mikkeli/liikkeet/paivanpaiste/

Hope this helped atleast a bit.
