I have managed to get the HTML spot working successfully in one of my panos. However, I can't seem to change the background color. Basically I just want the background (which is default white) to be black instead with white text.

My code for the HTML:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "">
<html xmlns="">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

<body bgcolor="#000000">

<font face="Verdana,Trebuchet,Sans-serif">
<font size="+4"><b>LCD Television</b></font>
<img src="infobox/1309730260.jpg" width="125" height="150" align="right"/>
<textformat blockindent="4">
37” Flat Panel Televison. Flat Panel Televisions in every room with our complimentary in-room entertainment package that includes 30 television stations, 13 satellite radio stations and 4 adult video channels that feature erotic entertainment 24/7.

Well actually I am sure you cannot do this.. You cannot even use CSS to do it.. The best way to do this would be to make the entire text and image as a single image... You will benefit by getting better looking text too, since html text can look a bit yuck.. and if the user does not have the font you have used, then it will default to something close which might not be the best.. You will be able to use any font you like doing it this way so heaps more control.. You will still have a white boarder but that still looks nice.. You can even put a url on the graphic to open a new html page with more information.. What can look nice if you put a shadow on the bottom to bring the image off the background..

Hi Destiny,

Thanks for the ideas. With the amount of info boxes I need to create it would be a nightmare to make each one an image. Especially if I had to edit each image during the client feedback period.

At any rate, I am sure it's possible because I have done it before on another KR Pano based platform as seen in the examples provided below. The problem is I no longer use that platform and have switched (invested in) PanoTour Pro. So I am all in now (with PTP) and I am hoping someone here might have some experience with Adobe's text language and changing background color. The other UI I was using before simply gave you the option of black or white so there was no code to deal with, and thus I am not sure what code is used to change the bg color.

I also saw an example of the background color being used in this thread - But for whatever reason I must not have it correct because it is not working for me.

Which 'platform' was this?

Anyway, the feature (in PTP) that you are using implements/utilises the krpano text field plugin and the documentation for that is to be found here:

It appears you should be able to achieve the effect you seek with CSS.
