Project Crashes on startup...

by jarane » Tue Jan 03, 2012 1:20 am

Hi everyone,
I have been working on a PTP project for the last two day without any problems.
Suddenly PTP started crashing on launch every time.

I tried:
- launching PTP as 32-bit
- opening the project on a different computer
- opening the project in earlier versions of PTP
- changing the memory allocations on the preference window

I then realized that other projects opened on PTP without hassle.

Anyone with any experience with corrupted project files?

Thanks in advance,
E.C.

no real solution for you...
... but maybe another way to try...

opening a panotour project file in an older panotour version may corrupt the file (additionally).
so take a xml editor (or a simple texteditor capapble opening txt files) open one working panotour file and the non working file....
... and compare them to find differences in syntax. The files contains xml syntax so a missing < or whatever could explain the crashing...

Liebe Gruesse,
Georg
