Stream a video hotspot

by wjh31 » Sun Jan 01, 2012 6:43 pm

After embeding a video hotspot in a scene, it seems the whole video must be loaded before play commences, can the video be made to stream rather than having the whole of it download?

I too just had a search on the krpano forum and it popped up that the buffertime="" option should allow setting of the time to buffer before playing in xml but it doesn't seem to work, ill keep playing with the xml pending anyone else posting with success

Here´s an example from the KRPano-Forum:
http://www.virtualtuur.com/DSB

The third scene plays a 21MB video streamed.

Hi!

I have to correct my answer from some days a go: streaming video is the usual behavior. But it might be that the GZIP-compression on the server isn´t deactivated - in that case the browser loads the movie first before playing.
