opening a pano fullscreen by calling it from html?

by klausesser » Sat Nov 05, 2011 3:41 pm

A client wants to trigger a pano on his site by having it fullscreen when it opens - and he wants to be able to close the fullscreen by an "exit" button.
To leave the fullscreen is no problem as we know - but how can i trigger it to open it fullscreen from an html-part of the site?

best, Klaus

My understanding is that it is not possible due to Flash security features. However I could be mistaken.

The best you could do to force full screen is to use a splash scene or help plugin, or any plugin for that matter, at the the tour start up. With some additional xml code you could force that the tour goes fullscreen upon close(on click) of the splash or initial help plugin. Like wise you could addd a plugin whose alpha or visibilty appears upon fullscreen, which can then be clicked to close full screen.
