APG 2.5 RC / MacOS 10.6.5 // ERROR GFL BAD BITMAP

by LJADC » Mon Jan 03, 2011 1:18 pm

Hello Forum.

Happy Newyear!

I've downloaded the latest APG version {RC} this morning but my first rendering ended with an ERROR: GFL BAD BITMAP...

After opening the file in Photoshop, a layer named _PLACEHOLDER FOR THE LATEST LAYER_ is inside but that is an empty layer [look at the screenshot]

So, I rendered the same images again with the previous APG Beta2 and that works out fine.

Now I wonder, is there a bug in the RC version?

Greetings from the Netherlands,

Bert

Yes, that's a confirmed bug of RC : 486. Resolved for RC. It only happens when putting together every files in the PSD / PSB format.

So, Alexandre, what can we Mac Users do?

Wait for the final RC version? Or for the moment stick to the Beta 2 ?

Or uncheck 'embedded all'. You'll get separated files, but each of them should work.
The RC2 was scheduled for before Christmas but as we found an awful bug, we postponed it. This bug is now solved and we'll release a RC2 really soon ( Tomorrow or the day after ).
