Since upgrading to windows 8 the Panogear does not connect with Bluetooth anymore.

Any troubleshooting beetween panogear and windows 8 ?

And is there another mean to connect ?

Thanks,

PS : sorry for my bad English ;)

And you are using the PapyMerlin Bluetooth adapter on the Panogear/Merlin mount?

Are you using a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 8.1? (you are using 8.1?)

Are you using a built-in BT adapter on your computer or an external BT USB 'dongle'?

Are you using standard Microsoft Bluetooth driver on your computer or is it some third-party Bluetooth stack. Papywizard doesn't 'like' some third-party Bluettoth stacks.

...................

I have just run a test and I have Papywizard (last dev version) running on Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit using a Bluenext branded 'generic' type BT USB dongle and a Merlin (Panogear) mount with the PapyMerlin Bluetooth adapter.

Pairing and getting to BT adapter settings on the PC can be a bit of a challenge (for me anyway as I'm still more familiar with XP) because one gets thrown into some Metro/TIFKAM-UI stuff along the way.

If you cannot get a BT connection to work, try a serial-over-BT connection.
