Hi to every one!

I try to create a preset in touch controller for an 800mm lens but i get the following message
-focal lenght to large,no picture overlapping possible-
any ideas;

I have presets that work ok even for 400mm lens

Could you please describe in detail how yo do it? Maybe 800mm exceeds the precision of the Merlin.
On the Merlin i never used lenses more than 400mm.

best, Klaus

I use the panorama app that comes with touch controller and focal lenght values from 450 and above all give the same message and can't be added to the list

Ok - Josef will be back from vacation this weekend. Afaik it´s the Merlin´s lack on mechanical precision above 400mm - that´s understandable at the price: it can´t position such small angles precisely enough.
But i´ll ask Josef nevertheless to post an answer here.

best, Klaus
