This morning, the book that probably had to travel the longest distance - roughly 20000 km to the South Island of New Zealand - arrived with only a few minor dents.
My observations : 1. Yes, the packing was a bit optimistic 2. After reading all the horror stories of damaged books within France, I have to conclude that minimalistic packing is only the minor part of the problem... the major part might be an attitude problem with the local postal services.

About damaged book : we did what was necessary to prevent that. Now, books are covered by another carton to prevent that.
If there is still some book damaged, just go back to me with some pictures of the problem and you'll get a new copy for free.

Could it be possible to have a "press kit" about the Panobbok (with the logo and the pictures published on Autopano's blog)? I thik many contributor want to write something about this book on their website (we will of course add some links to the autopano website and the shop)- ;)).

Thank you very much for the wonderful book. It is wonderful achievement

Additional packaging really helped despite all the postal butchery along the way .....

We will prepare a press kit and will do some web advertisement to get a larger audience to the panobook : press kit for website, a video for youtube, etc.
When it's ready we'll email to the contributor about the details.

Ok, thank you alexandre. For the moment, I've taken the pictures of your blog, and put some links to the store. I'll update my website when the press kit will be sent :)

As explained by Alexandre, Amazon or other book sellers are maybe convenient for customers but not so friendly with book editors. Did you check with Kolor ? Kolor did shipment to New-Zealand, why not to USA ?
