it´s winter and i have time to do some free work just for fun.

A cavingtour in the " Falkensteiner Höhle" near Bad Urach in south germany.

8 hours for 7 panoramas, setting the lights was a lot of work.

We want to go deeper in the cave, but we were surprised by the high water level and we was stopped by the first half-sump which is normally 5 inches air between the rock-ceeling and the water.
Sadly we have let our cavedivingequipmet at home ;-(

To be continued...

What is wrong then here? So a great tour and nobody writes a post? Then I will start.
The tour is a masterpiece. Magnificently! Great resolution. Wonderful colours. Technically at the highest level.
Question: how you have illuminated the cave and which equipment (camera, objective...) you have used. And: how cold was it in the cave and how long you have needed for the admission of the pictures?
Greetings, Ronald
Was ist denn hier los?

Hello Ronald,
thanks for your praise!

To illuminate we used two Scurion 1500 from my friend.
This lamps give a soft light beam without any shadows and two led lamps with 1000 lumens
on two tripods to place behind the actor or a corner. I shoot 6 pictures around, one up and two down.
For every picture we set the light specially but we regard to the transitions between the pictures.
So every 360°pano takes about one hour.
The temperature in the cave was 8 degrees celsius and the water temperature the same.
Camrea was a nikon d600 with a 16 mm 2.8 fisheye, iso 50 and f 13.

Of course, caving I like it!

Can I add (or you) a link on your realization at section "La pratique virtuelle et démocratisée"
and section "cave conservation"
