Love it.. I have been playing with that kind of thing for a long time.. In photoshop you can use the Sketch tool to sketch out the outlines and then use the paint tools to colour it in... Personally I think it has merit for the right use.. There are software apps too that can toon the images to make them full colour virtual tours.. Poser 5 does a great job of image effects....
